Demolition of 12 prison buildings and site grading with recycled concrete. This job involved demolition of prison buildings dating from 1860’s to the 1970’s. We used a Komatsu PC400 high reach machine to demolish the buildings. Additionally, we used a group of excavators, up to Komatsu 650 in size, to remove deep foundations. We crushed and screened all concrete and rock to produce RC6 material. We backfilled and graded the site using the RC6 material. This job was contracted with Towson Mechanical.
